About BigTool
BigTool is a collection of 85 free online tools for everyday tasks: working with PDFs, preparing passport and immigration photos, estimating US and Canadian taxes, editing text and formatting code. Every tool is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermarks and no daily limits.
Private by design
Most online tools upload your files to a server. Ours don’t. BigTool tools run entirely inside your web browser, so your documents, photos and numbers are processed on your own device and are never sent to us. That matters most for sensitive files like passport scans, bank statements and tax figures.

Accuracy and updates
Our tax calculators use rates and limits published by official sources such as the Canada Revenue Agency, the IRS and provincial governments, and each calculator shows when its figures were last updated. Photo tools follow the published size requirements of the Government of Canada and the US Department of State. Rules change, though, and our tools give estimates and help with preparation only — they are not tax, legal or immigration advice, and we are not affiliated with any government agency.
How the site is funded
BigTool is supported by advertising, which keeps every tool free. See our Privacy Policy for details on how ads use cookies.
